Vans is in a Disney state of mind. The company is reimagining some of Disney’s characters for a collection of footwear, apparel and accessories, set to hit stores in June.
The new Young at Heart collection launches with a six-piece offering from Vans Classics. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are featured on two colorways of the Vans Classic Slip-On in various states of action. The design team at Vans added a unique touch to each print, styling Mickey in a red sneaker and Minnie in a pink sneaker alongside their iconic yellow footwear options.
Making his own fashion statement is Donald Duck, showcasing his temperament across Vans’ first shoe style — the Authentic. On a second Authentic, Winnie the Pooh wears a homemade helmet and skateboard made from a tree from the Hundred Acre Wood. The collection rounds out with a Mickey & Friends print, with each character highlighted on the four panels of the Vans Sk-Hi Reissue, while the Era includes a collage of the timeless pattern.
There are Vans Disney kicks for small fry, too: The Mickey and Minnie Classic Slip-Ons, the Winnie the Pooh Authentic and the Mickey & Friends Era will come in kids and toddler sizes.
