Under Armour’s Todd Frazier Wins Home Run Derby

Before Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star Game festivities at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, Under Armour-sponsored third basemen Todd Frazier won the Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders on Monday.

Frazier defeated Los Angeles Dodgers rookie – and Under Armour-sponsored athlete – Joc Pederson in the final round of the event, 15 home runs to 14. The Cincinnati Reds slugger is the just the second player from the All-Star Game host team to win the Home Run Derby, and the third player ever from the Reds to win the event.

Frazier stepped into the batters box in a red and gold players edition of the Under Armour Deception DT, a baseball cleat available in low cut and mid featuring the brand’s ClutchFit technology on its upper, a molded lightweight pebax plate, and carbon steel tips for traction.

The cleats are available now and have retail prices of $100 and $110 for the low and mid versions, respectively.

Frazier is hitting .284 on the season with 25 home runs and 57 RBIs.

Players with Under Armour deals joining Frazier on the field for the All-Star Game on Tuesday include Pederson, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey, Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain, and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke.
