Nicki Minaj Will Produce And Appear In A TV Series About Her Life

On Monday night, Nicki Minaj teased her fans on Instagram, telling them there was a surprise coming. “#NickiSurprise” started trending on Twitter, leaving Minaj’s fans clamoring for answers.
Today, it was announced that Minaj will star in and executive produce a comedy series on ABC Family based on her life.
The show will focus on Minaj’s move to the U.S. from Trinidad and Tobago when she was a young girl, and subsequently growing up in Queens, N.Y. On Twitter and Instagram, Minaj said the show is launching a search to cast a “#YoungNicki” to play her when she was a child.
ABC Family linked to an article on Deadline, which says the untitled series will film a pilot this winter.

Minaj is known for her bold, sexy style — footwear included. She’s a fan of shoe designers such as Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin, Givenchy and Tom Ford. Over the weekend, Minaj was in Milan to perform at a Givenchy party and arrived wearing a pair of the house’s thigh-high leather peep-toe boots.
While we don’t know what Minaj’s style was like in her earlier days, we imagine she’s always been a daring dresser.
