Kanye West made a very quick solo trip to Moscow this week, and it seems he was seeking out a bit of art and inspiration.
West met up with Russian streetwear designer Gosha Rubchinskiy, and the two visited the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow.

Rubchinskiy is known for his progressive designs that have caught the attention of West and the rest of the world, as Rubchinskiy continues to make a name for himself outside Russia. Comme des Garcons operates Rubchinskiy’s label and sells it in its Dover Street Market stores. In a testament to his growing global success, Rubchinskiy recently collaborated with Reebok on sneakers.
It’s not clear whether West will collaborate with Rubchinskiy, but that doesn’t seem like a totally impossible prospect. Meanwhile, West was spotted in Los Angeles International Airport on the way to Moscow wearing a pair of Calabassas x Adidas sneakers that are part of the collection West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, first teased in September. He wore a similar black pair when he arrived back in L.A.
