Jeremy Scott is once again joining forces with Brazilian footwear brand Melissa Shoes. There are six styles on offer this season, including two that appeared in Scott’s spring ’16 runway show at New York Fashion Week.
The inflatable mule and ankle boot hit the runway in September 2015, while the new styles include two pairs of flats, a sandal and a rain boot for kids. The flats feature heart and bow details on the toe, and the kids boots have adorable monkeys and flowers adorning them. All of the styles have an air nozzle to insinuate that they are inflatable.
In celebration of the launch, Scott and Melissa hosted a party at Sao Paulo nightclub PanAm. Guests included Brazilian singer Anitta and actresses Sabrina Sato and Julia Faria, as well as DJs Skrillex and Diplo.

“I do always like the idea of putting a smile on people’s faces when they see my work and hopefully surprising them,” said Scott. “One of the reasons I chose to do this collaboration with Melissa was because I wanted to share my designs with more people and I felt this would be a great way to do that.”
The collection became available on March 16 and retails for $88-$210 at Melissa Galerias worldwide and the Melissa website.
