On Tuesday night, FN held its 30th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York, honoring the best in fashion and footwear.
Rihanna was on hand to accept the Shoe of the Year award for the Fenty Puma Creeper sneaker. In her speech, she said, “I didn’t expect people to love it the way I do, and the way they’ve supported it means so much to me.” Before she got onstage, she snapped photos with “Orange Is the New Black” actress Dascha Polanco and Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr., who presented John Varvatos with the Social Impact Award.
Olivia Palermo, Christie Brinkley, Spike Lee and Nicky Hilton Rothschild were also there to present awards.
