Sometimes, less is more. “We didn’t want anything to distract from the legs,” said Fashion Director Mosha Lundström Halbert. “It was about stripping back to highlight the power of glam gams and spindly heels.” Upon meeting Wilhelmina’s Danielle Knudson, the concept took off. “I was struck by her vixenish beauty — ergo, Bardot.” With mussed hair by Jerome Cultrera and cat eyes by Daniella Shachter, the model, Guess girl and social media star (@DanielleKnudson1), slipped naturally into the theme. “Bardot is such an icon,” Knudson said. “To channel her was so fun.” For her own enviable allure, Knudson relies on barre classes — and Louboutin pumps.
We chatted with the Canadian beauty, a native of Red Deer, Alberta, on her style.
