U.K. retailer End is the latest store to collaborate with Adidas Consortium, and it has a mouth-watering desert-inspired collection set to release in November.
The fall ’16 End x Adidas Consortium collaboration is inspired by the Sahara Desert. According to the store, “both the execution and the materials draw their aesthetic from the 3.5 million square miles of undulating sand dunes that sprawl across much of the African continent.”
This collaboration uses a fall-friendly palette and mixes a range of premium materials. The End x Adidas Consortium NMD Chukka takes notes from cacti found in the Sahara with a “Olive/White/Gum” colorway. Even the mesh material seen on the NMD Chukka was carefully considered, as End said the honeycomb-like pattern is also a cactus reference.
For those who prefer to keep things more traditional, the End x Adidas Consortium ZX 700 Boat in “Tan/Tan/White” will also be offered in this release. This sneaker uses a blend of beige patterns to represent the Sahara’s sandy surfaces, and it also mixes materials like smooth leather and rough suede to capture the desert’s intricacies.
This collaboration is set to release exclusively through End’s Launches platform on Nov. 5. Signups are open now at launches.endclothing.com.
