From head to toe, Becky G was as good as gold. The pop star hit the red carpet Thursday in Las Vegas at the 17th annual Latin Grammy Awards rocking the shimmering hue.
The “Empire” actress had on a custom Walter Mendez embroidered gown that featured sheer detail around the arms and the ornate treatment continued around the bust down to the skirt’s train. She completed the look with a pair of caged sandal heels.
Her boyfriend, L.A. Galaxy soccer player Sebastian Lletget, made a handsome companion in a black suit. The Nike athlete donned patent leather black shoes to match his threads.
Meanwhile, the night’s co-host Roselyn Sanchez (with co-host Argentine-Mexican actor Sebastián Rulli) was a lady in red. The “Devious Maids” actress presented the night, honoring a year in outstanding music, wearing an asymmetric off-the-shoulder floor-length dress.
Some of the other stars who showcased striking shoe style include Jacob Forever and Prince Royce, who both had on Giuseppe Zanotti loafers. Jacob Forever rocked the luxury label’s Charles slip-ons, which incorporated black suede and embroidered studs, and retail for $1,150 online. Royce donned the Laurence loafer, which featured a strap across the upper.
Perhaps the most daring statement of the night was that of pop singer and skin care entrepreneur Dencia. The musician had on a blue bralette, and a sequined cropped jacket that had matching flared trousers that zipped up to her bust line. Under the hem of her sparkling pants she rocked a pair of glitter pumps.
On Wednesday, a pre-recorded Latin Grammy Awards ceremony was held to honor Marc Anthony. Ricky Martin presented the singer with the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
