Sorel is bringing its fall footwear collection to 20 Nordstrom stores through a series of pop-up shops.
According to the footwear brand, the shops come as Sorel celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Caribou silhouette. The company said its new series of Nordstrom installations aim to illustrate how the brand is embracing its decades-long winter heritage when creating new, city-inspired designs.
Visitors to the shops will find a range of styles from Sorel’s fall 2023 collection, as well as Nordstrom exclusive colorways of new releases like the Caribou X Boot Lace, Caribou Clog, Kinetic Impact Puffy Zip and Brex Heel Zip.
What’s more, the new Sorel x Nordstrom pop-ups all feature customized 3D polar bear installations designed by local artists around the country. Artists featured include Shema Love, Justine Kelley, Angelina Villalobos and Ms. Yellow.
“We’re thrilled to launch this series of fall pop-up spaces to be able to connect with the Nordstrom consumer in a new and exciting way,” Michelle Noschese, global brand director at Sorel, said in a statement. “This fall 2023 season is a special exploration of our iconic Caribou silhouette, and we are proud to be celebrating this moment as a brand alongside Nordstrom.”
The Sorel x Nordstrom pop-up shops are now open through Oct. 29 at select Nordstrom locations such as the Nordstrom NYC flagship, Nordstrom Century City and Nordstrom Mall of America.
Nordstrom’s newest footwear activation comes days after its NYC men’s store unveiled an expanded shoe department. The retailer announced earlier this week that it had doubled the size of its men’s shoe department with an expanded selection of styles including 15 new-to-Nordstrom NYC brands.
In total, the men’s shoe floor now has a total of 80 brands across designer, dresswear, modern sportswear, contemporary, trend, young customer and the active categories.
