Nordstrom is teaming up with Tory Burch for the latest edition of its Make Room for Shoes program.
The department store, which is going private this year, has teamed up with the brand for a month-long event that gives Nordstrom customers access to a limited-edition capsule collection of footwear.
The exclusive Tory Burch shoe collection includes 11 vacation-ready footwear styles that can go from the beach to city streets. One of the standout silhouettes include the Kira Sport Sandal in raffia, which features a leather footbed, rubber sole and utilitarian velcro straps.
Other highlights of the offering are the Ines Heel mule sandal with a 55mm heel, the Miller Knotted Pave sandal, the Striped Canvas Stacked T espadrille, and the Ines Caged slides. The exclusive Tory Burch shoe collection retails between $198 and $328.
Tacey Powers, executive vice president and general merchandise manager for shoes, told FN that she is excited to introduce some of Tory Burch’s sandal offering for spring.
“The collection includes exclusive colors and fabrics in Tory Burch’s classic silhouettes, and we hope customers will be thrilled to shop the selection,” Powers said.
First announced in February 2024, the Make Room for Shoes initiative comes to life through monthly partnerships with some of the industry’s top footwear brands. So far, the retailer has highlighted brands such as On, Birkenstock, Sam Edelman, Larroudé, Dolce Vita, Reformation, Sperry, Ugg and Vionic.
This latest edition of Make Room for Shoes comes just months after Nordstrom said its focus on its footwear roots this year is paying off.
On the company’s third-quarter earnings call in November, Pete Nordstrom, president of the Seattle-based department store chain, told analysts that its Make Room for Shoes campaign was one of the contributors to its growth in the period.
Nordstrom’s “Make Room for Shoes” campaign featuring Tory Burch runs from April 9 through May 4 at select Nordstrom doors and Nordstrom.com.
