No. 21 has an ongoing hit on its hands — the Ronny mule. The popular style was reimagined for a pop-up shop at Harrods department store in London that will open Monday.
Brand founder and creative director Alessandro Dell’Acqua was inspired by Harrods floral campaign: “Whatever the Weather.” The style was embellished with black diamonds, and the satin mule styles come in colors exclusive to Harrods, including sky blue, baby pink, gray, purple and blue.
The mules originally debuted on the spring and summer ’15 runways. The pop-up shop will run for one month.
No. 21 previously collaborated with Kartell à la Mode to produce the Knot slide, a plastic sandal combining No.21’s distinctive bow design, for the spring ’15 season.
