Nina Footwear Taps Cherie Blum as New President — Cherie Blum joins Nina Footwear

Following a string of roles at Kenneth Cole Productions, Jimlar-Li & Fung Ltd. and ZiGi NY, footwear industry veteran Cherie Blum is set to join Nina Footwear Corp. to head the company’s private-label division.

Blum, who has experience across retail, wholesale and mass channels, specializing in private label for branded and non-branded organizations, is set to join Nina from her most recent role as president of private brands at ZiGi.

On the new hire, Ezra Dabah, CEO of Nina Footwear, said, “Cherie is analytical as well as creative, and has strong market knowledge and awareness of emerging trends.”

“She is experienced in brand building and merchandising, with an intense focus on the retailer and their brand strategy. We look forward to seeing her lead Nina’s award-winning private-label team,” Dabah added.

Blum will report directly to Dabah.
