Imbox Protection is making significant strides in its partnership with sneaker retailer Snipes.
Following a successful trial program, Snipes is set to introduce Imbox Protection, an environmentally friendly sneaker protection system, to 40 locations in the United States. This innovative technique will be offered at the point of purchase for both consumers and retailers, priced at $7-$8 per pair per treatment.
Imbox Protection’s proprietary PFAS-free formula is applied in just one minute and preserves all materials immediately. The safe and environmentally-conscious system protects against water damage, dirt, stains and color fading. Customers can watch every step of the process via the 24-inch display on the front of the sleek machine and walk out of the store with their shoes protected.
“Snipes is an iconic retailer with a savvy, passionate sneaker following and is deeply connected to local communities,” said Oliver Hede, Vice President of sales at Imbox Protection Inc., adding, “The Snipes customer cares about the quality and look of their footwear and expects a superior in-store experience. Our technology provides increased value for customers looking to make smart purchases, and helps consumers extend the life of their shoes before leaving the store.”
