Kurt Geiger is entering the new year with a grin.

The British accessories brand revealed that December 2024 was their most profitable month in the business’ history, with a 17 percent growth in direct-to-consumer sales.

The brand also said handbag sales grew by 54 percent in December as its presence in North America has skyrocketed.

“We’re going big in North America. Seeing our growth in the region, we believe our creative and social spirit and our statement-making styles aren’t just for Londonphiles. We love the idea of Kurt Geiger being a worldwide conduit of London’s pop culture scene,” said Neil Clifford, CEO of Kurt Geiger.

Kurt Geiger is putting a lot of investment into brick-and-mortar locations across the U.S. and Mexico, with three new stores in New York, Los Angeles and San Diego, as well as a location in Mexico City and  Querétaro, Mexico.

Further openings this year include spaces in Miami, Houston, and a second unit in New York.

The brand said it plans to have 50 stores across North America.

As reported, Kurt Geiger announced record breaking numbers for the business back in August 2024, with annual sales reaching $466 million in the year ending February 2024, a 10 percent increase from the year-ago period. Earnings increased by 34 percent, exceeding $50 million.

The brand cited its “affordable luxuryhandbags for its success.

“Quite simply, we stand out from the crowd. Our brand has [a] unique design aesthetic – fun, colorful and instantly recognizable. That, combined with a strong British DNA and an incredible value proposition – we’ve filled a white space with bold, maximalist silhouettes at an affordable price point,” said Clifford.
