‘The Simpsons’ and Adidas Reunite on a New ZX 1000 Sneaker Collaboration

Adidas has teamed up with “The Simpsons” once again, and similar to their recent sneaker collaboration, the duo is reimagining another ZX model.
After dropping a Krusty Burger-inspired “The Simpsons” x Adidas ZX 10000 in February, the sportswear giant and the hit cartoon series have come together in the spring to deliver their latest ZX 1000 collab arriving before the end of this week.
According to Adidas, this pair “pay homage to a very special beverage” in the show called the Flaming Moe, which is an alcoholic cocktail that served at the Moe’s Tavern. The look of the shoe takes direct inspiration from the aforementioned drink with a predominantly purple color scheme covering the mesh and suede upper that’s paired with hits of red as a nod to the fire atop the drink. Adding to the design are white shoelaces along with a Flaming Moe jewel attached at the forefoot. Rounding out the look is a white midsole and a black outsole. The shoe comes packaged in a special box inspired by a television screen.
The Simpsons x Adidas ZX 1000 “Flaming Moe” will be released this Wednesday at 3 a.m. ET at Adidas.com and at select Adidas retailers. The shoe will come with a $120 price tag.
