When Reebok crafted the Classic Leather Legacy, the sportswear giant wanted to build something that was made for the future, but honored the past.
The silhouette was brought to life taking 1970s and ’80s inspiration from the iconic Aztec and Classic Leather styles. When looking at the Legacy, the retro aesthetic is felt immediately. The shoe is designed to look like old-school trainers and is finalized with a chunky build.
However, with a closer view, the Legacy is more than a reimagined vintage shoe. The sculpted 3-D look found in each silhouette gives the sneaker a bold new identity — one that is fierce and has attitude, much like the younger generation of sneakerheads it was designed to intrigue. For added pizazz, the Classic Leather Legacy shoes come with different colors and uppers mixed with suede and textiles for extra texture and further depth. The shoe is completed with a rubber outsole.
Since launching, the Classic Leather Legacy has become a must-have lifestyle shoe, and the brand is maintaining the momentum with the release of new colorways and collaborations for spring ’21.

Collina Strada Classic Leather Legacy Shoes
Reebok joined forces with eco-friendly label Collina Strada to design a women’s shoe that is inspired by the runway. The Classic Leather Legacy shoes are made with sustainable materials, including vegan leather and recycled polyester. As for looks, the shoe comes in a core black/lilac glow/ftwr white colorway, which in essence is a trendy tie-dye design. At the heel tabs, shoppers will find the phrase “Call Mom.” The style is just enough glam for a night on the town, but casual enough for a midday coffee break.

A$AP Nast’s Classic Leather Legacy shoes pay tribute to the rapper’s Harlem, N.Y. roots. The New York feel is carried out with a suede and leather construction and a tongue that features exposed foams. The blending of materials creates a worn/rugged vibe. The shoes are available in both women’s and men’s sizing and can pair well with light-wash denim, suiting and even all-leather looks.
