Katie Holmes Goes Surprisingly Casual in a T-Shirt, Comfy Sweats & Bee-Sting Sneakers
Katie Holmes made a case for casual style all summer long with her latest New York moment.
The “Dawson’s Creek” actress stepped out for a Citi Bike around Manhattan on Tuesday, prepping to stay active in comfortable attire. Her ensemble teamed a classic long-sleeve tee with a black sports bra and coordinating drawstring sweatpants; she then accessorized further with a baseball cap and a floral face mask.
For footwear, Holmes broke out a pair of her beloved sneakers from Gucci. The worn-in white leather pair comes with a low-top silhouette and a recognizable red and green side accent. For a final fun touch, the design also includes a brand-specific gold bee embroidery across the lateral side. The signature Gucci Ace Bee silhouette is available at Saks Fifth Avenue for a price tag of $680.

When it comes to Holmes’ own chic style, the star of “The Secret” movie oftentimes favors on-trend silhouettes that are just as stylish as her outfit of choice. The 42-year-old is known for her top-of-the-line style, matching her go-to fall combo — relaxed pants, an oversize coat and a casual top —with everything from Veja sneakers to Re/done kicks and flare-heel Dorateymur boots.
