Chrissy Teigen Is a ‘90s Dream in a Calvin Klein Sports Bra, Classic Mom Jeans & Square-Toe Mules

Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their daughter Luna took over New York in style on Thursday.

Stepping out hand-in-hand in the Big Apple, the trio explored the city in glam attire. Teigen herself channeled the 1990s in an oversize plaid blazer layered over a classic black $28 Calvin Klein sports bra and retro mom jeans.

On her feet, Teigen rounded out the look with one more Y2K trend: square-toe sandals. The white mules featured a big-toe silhouette and bear resemblance to Bottega Veneta‘s trending silhouette that retails for $965 at Matches Fashion.

Big-toe silhouettes became a celebrity-endorsed style in the summer of 2019 and have since continued to appear on the likes of Katy Perry, Lori Harvey and Katie Holmes amongst others. The style offers a laid-back appeal with the stability and familiarity of the 1990s, a common theme amongst “it” girl trends this season.

As for Teigen herself, the model’s own footwear and apparel closet includes an endless list of designer names such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Valentino and Aquazzura to name a few. Beyond her personal style choices, the cookbook author previously appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and serves as an ambassador for Procter & Gamble; she has modeled in campaigns for the likes of Ugg, The Gap, Revolve, Quay Eyewear and more throughout her impressive career.
