Ariana Grande showed off her versatile style this week, debuting her outfit of the day on Instagram for her 227 million fans to see.
The “Positions” singer decided on a high-low moment with a little help from her stylist Mimi Cuttrell. For apparel, Grande opted for more wallet-friendly pieces in an unreleased backless tank top from H&M matched to crisscross jeans courtesy of Princess Polly; the affordable brand’s asymmetric denim retails for just $74 on its website.
To complete her casual-chic attire, the “Victorious” actress then swapped to a more high-priced designer for footwear: Prada.w

Set with patent black upper and a lifted block heel, the silhouette bears resemblance to the Italian fashion house’s Naplak design; the square-toe pumps come set atop a 3.7-inch boost with a rounded vamp and securing ankle strap to match. You can shop the retro-chic heels for $895 courtesy of Farfetch.

Grande herself is no stranger to a statement shoe and oftentimes prefers a platform silhouette to boost her 5-feet frame. Previously tapping the likes of Giuseppe Zanotti, Gucci, Yeezy and more for her heightened heels, the “7 Rings” singer can be found in shoes measuring up to 6 or 7 inches in everything from her day-to-day attire to her music video ensembles.
For her “34 + 35” remix video, for example, she chose lifted white sandals featuring a peep-toe design with a securing ankle strap and block heel courtesy of Giuseppe Zanotti. Coated in a patent leather sheen, the glowing heels measure 5-inches in height and also include a squared-off toe for a unique finish. You can shop similar styles to Grande’s choice of footwear for $825 at Neiman Marcus.
As for Grande herself, the Grammy Award-winning artist has never been one to shy away from a bold footwear moment. In fact, the singer more often than not opts for taller heels in everything from her on-stage looks to her off-duty style. Her previous heightened styles have come from Club Exx, Demoni, Unravel and more top labels.
When she isn’t in boots or heels, the “Thank U, Next” musician keeps things casual in Nike Air Force 1 kicks, Crocs clogs and Naked Wolfe chunky sneakers amongst other styles. Her career in fashion extends beyond just a stylish closet, though. She was named the face of Givenchy’s fall ’19 campaign and previously partnered with Reebok to help debut a brand new silhouette for fall ’18.
