The Air Jordan 10 Retro has had a big year so far, releasing in the original “Shadow” colorway along with other well-received new looks, including the “I’m Back” edition celebrating Michael Jordan’s return to the NBA in 1995 after his first retirement. Now Air Jordan collectors have another new color-up for the silhouette to get excited about.
The classic sneaker releases this summer in a bold new edition, featuring speckled detailing across the “Light Smoke” gray leather upper and midsole.
The shoe also features solid black for the top portion of the leather upper, tongue and laces, while a striped black and white outsole, completed with a red Jumpman logo, complements the rest of the design nicely. Overall, the colorway is quite busy due to the speckling but manages to keep a clean and refined appearance, thanks to the solid color blocking elsewhere.
For those familiar with Air Jordan history, the splatter motif will likely call to mind the speckled detailing on the original Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” colorway, which may be a direct inspiration. The look is also very similar to a player-exclusive version of the Air Jordan 10 given to participants in the Jordan Brand Classic high school basketball event this year.
The Air Jordan 10 “Light Smoke” is scheduled to release on July 21 at select retailers for $190.
