The Carters are back on the road.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have returned to the stage for the second installment of their “On the Run” tour, kicking off the first concert at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. And while the pair rounded out a dynamic setlist with joint hits like “Drunk in Love” and “’03 Bonnie & Clyde,” it was the glamorous fashion that ultimately stole the show.
The two arrived in a headline-making entrance, with Queen Bey dressed in a sheer crystal-encrusted blazer over an equally embellished leotard that featured a turtleneck high enough to cover the lower half of her face — both custom pieces from celebrity-favorite designer LaQuan Smith. She finished the diamanté ensemble with ever-trendy Lucite boots, an outfit that complemented Jay’s tailored white suit and sneaker look.
Of course, that wasn’t the only style statement she made that night. The “Formation” superstar also appeared decked out in head-to-toe Gucci pieces from Harlem stylist Dapper Dan, complete with an oversized hooded jacket and over-the-knee boots adorned with the brand’s logo. (The shoes alone retail for $1,790.)
As if those pieces weren’t enough, Bey also donned a fishnet balaclava and an extravagant body chain to “top off” the look. (Cue the couple’s latest hit duet.)
She then shared a peek at a third look — a leopard-print bodysuit with a sexy garter belt and thigh-high leather boots — on her Instagram:
