The mood: Heavyweight art scene, with the new meatpacking Whitney Museum as the impressive setting. Proenza Schouler is the first to have nabbed the venue.
The front row: Liv Tyler, Karen Elson, Eva Chen, Caroline Issa, Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Natasha Lyonne.
The shoes: Classics with subversive quirk. Block heel booties in various heights were recolored in candy wrapper metallics and were finished with expansive chrome toe capping plus bow details.
Review: In terms of desirability and newness, these styles were full of hot tricks and quickly jumped to the NYFW top spot.
