Bella Hadid Falls on the Runway at New York Fashion Week

Top model Bella Hadid took a tumble on the Michael Kors runway on Sept. 14.
The 19-year-old was wearing an embellished black dress with a pair of black suede platforms from the designer’s spring ’17 collection. Kors had two catwalks for the show, and as Hadid turned to walk down the second, she fell to the ground.
The shoes had a heel that looked to be at least 5 inches high and had a roughly 2-inch platform. Other models, including Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner and Taylor Hill, also walked in the show wearing platforms.
Even at her age, Hadid is already an experienced runway model, having walked in shows for Chanel, Atelier Versace, Dior, DKNY, Givenchy and more. Hadid is proof that falls happen to the best of models — even supermodel Naomi Campbell has taken a spill.
Hadid should be able to redeem herself soon; she’ll likely be walking in plenty of shows at the upcoming Paris and Milan fashion weeks.
