Adidas Originals Pharrell Hu NMD Drops Today
After launching at select retailers and BBC Ice Cream stores in July, Pharrell Williams‘ Adidas Originals Hu NMD collaboration will be getting a second release today.
The boldly branded Williams-designed sneakers feature “Human” printed on the right shoe, while the left shoe reads “Race.” They’re constructed with a yellow mesh upper, complete with a white Boost midsole with black accents. Much like noncollaborative NMD releases, the midsole is supported by EVA inserts. Williams’ logo appears at the heel, along with a multicolor Adidas Trefoil stamp.

During the first Pharrell Williams x Adidas Hu NMD release, the sneakers sold out from retailers stocking the collab within minutes, with pairs ending up on the secondary market for inflated prices. Currently, the resale value fluctuates between $500 and $900, although that figure may change as more pairs enter the market.

In addition to the yellow colorway, Pharrell’s Hu NMDs have been spotted in a variety of colors including green, burgundy and blue, although it remains to be seen if and when any of these styles will be released.
For now, this collaboration will arrive today at Adidas Originals flagship stores worldwide. This is expected to be the final release for the yellow Pharrell Hu NMD colorway, with a retail price of $240.
