Watch How Ronnie Fieg’s New A Bathing Ape Sneaker Is Made
Ronnie Fieg, designer and owner of Kith, has another anticipated collaboration in the works. It’s the Ronnie Fieg x A Bathing Ape Bapestas, which will be available Sept. 17.
This is the first time Fieg has created two Bapestas, specifically made in Portugal. The sneakers — which have received a new handcrafted “Fiegsta” execution, thanks to the Kith owner — include a triple-white tumbled-leather rendition and a sand-colored suede option with materials sourced from Italy.
These two models include asymmetrical co-branding between A Bathing Ape and Fieg, which can be seen on the heel tabs and leather footbeds. One side is detailed with “Bapesta” and the other “Fiegsta.” Each shoe is also offered in custom branded packaging, which includes custom shoe trees and dust bags.
