Villa has teamed up again with Timberland on a 6-inch boot collaboration, the seventh release between the two since 2013 and a follow-up to last year’s popular Emerald iteration.
The retailer and the outdoor footwear brand are set to release the Purple Diamond 6-inch on Jan. 28. The boot will be available in men’s, kids and toddler sizes, comes in a custom co-branded box, and will retail for $200.
The boot, according to Villa, is inspired by the compelling and expensive gemstone.
“The Emerald boot was a tremendous success, and we are excited to follow it up with the Purple Diamond,” said Patrick Walsh, chief marketing officer for Villa, in a statement. “We wanted to offer our customers a boot that is premium and loud.”
The boot features a premium purple nubuck upper with a matching padded collar and contrasting gum outsole.
To end 2015, the retailer and the brand teamed up with rap star Wale for a 6-inch boot collaboration, the Gift Box. The boot, which released on Nov. 24 and retailed for $200, was inspired by the holiday season and the exchanging of gifts.
Villa and Timberland also collaborated on the Old Glory 6-inch last year, a boot released in August that was inspired by what the retailer deems the new American dream.
