Although Phelps won’t actually compete in either of these shoes, Under Armour has added personal details intended to motivate the swimmer. The
The Architech’s insole features the footprint of Phelps’ 3-month-old son Boomer, while the print appears at the medial side of the SpeedForm Slingshot.
As of now, there are no plans to release this Phelps-exclusive Architech colorway, although Under Armour has confirmed that a new Architech style will release this month.
Meanwhile, a limited edition Olympics colorway of the SpeedForm Slingshot is currently available from UnderArmour.com for $120, however, it lacks the personalized details seen on Phelps’ pair.
