The United States and Great Britain are marking 100 days until the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro by revealing some of the uniforms their respective teams will be wearing.
On the “Today” show on Wednesday morning, swimmers Ryan Lochte and Haley Anderson and wrestler Jordan Burroughs debuted Team USA’s closing ceremony looks. Ralph Lauren has been outfitting Team USA athletes for about 50 years, and once again made the opening and closing ceremony uniforms. Both men and women will wear red, white and blue boat shoes for the closing ceremony, while the opening ceremony ensembles have not yet been revealed.

Meanwhile across the pond, Adidas and longtime collaborator Stella McCartney revealed some of Team Great Britain’s uniforms that they will wear during competition.

Last week, the Olympic torch was lit in Athens, and on May 3 it will begin its ceremonious journey around Brazil, ending at the Maracana Stadium in Rio. According to a statement on the Olympics website, venue preparations in Rio are 98 percent complete for the first Olympic Games to be held in South America, which kick off August 5 and run through August 21.
