Under Armour Readies A Pair Of Curry Two All-Star Weekend Releases
Stephen Curry will be making his third NBA All-Star Game appearance at the Air Canada Centre court in Toronto this weekend, and when he hits the hardwood, he’ll be wearing a new colorway of his second signature shoe. The superstar guard’s shoe will also hit retail over NBA All-Star Weekend.
The “All Star” edition of the Under Armour Curry Two arrives Saturday and will retail for $130. The athletic brand will also release its “Energy” edition, a low cut version of the shoe.
The “All Star” is predominantly white, featuring a white upper and midsole, with gold and red hints throughout the shoe. The upper features gold “UA” branding, stitching near the eyelets, and “SC” branding on the tongue. Red makes an appearance on the shoe’s lining and Charged Foam branding on the midsole. Completing the shoe is its icy translucent outsole with gold speckles.
The Golden State Warriors standout – in conjunction with Under Armour and Foot Locker – will also host a day of interactive basketball experiences on a court built in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Highlights include a Q&A session with Curry (hosted by TSN anchor Kate Beirness), a basketball clinic with youth players from the Canada Elite program and a 180-degree photo booth that uses multiple cameras from different angles and creates an image that appears to rotate in space.
