On Friday, Miami-based sneaker boutique SoleFly shared an early look at its upcoming Air Jordan 23 collaboration on Instagram. More images and details of this sneaker are now surfacing.
Sole Collector shared a full look at the SoleFly x Air Jordan 23, which boasts a tonal teal look as an homage to Major League Baseball’s Florida Marlins.
The Air Jordan 23 features unique details referencing Michael Jordan, including his signature at the toe cap and his thumbprint on the outsole and behind the tongue. As the first Air Jordan sneaker in Nike‘s eco-friendly Considered program, the Air Jordan 23 also uses mixed materials including leather, woven mesh, synthetics, and TPU.
For SoleFly’s collaboration, the Miami boutique covered the Air Jordan 23 in a tonal teal green as an obvious nod to the Marlins franchise (now called the Miami Marlins). The look is finished off with a translucent outsole supported by carbon fiber detailing and “SF” branding on the tongue of the left shoe.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 23 is limited to just 1,500 pairs, and each one is individually numbered behind the tongue. The launch for this collaboration is set to take place in store on Oct. 22 at SoleFly’s Cutler Bay location, and that will be followed by an online release from solefly.com on Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. ET. A price point has yet to be confirmed.
