NFL legend Dan Marino had a breakout season in 1984, his first full season under center for the Miami Dolphins. Just as bold as the football played in the city was the fashion of its locals. Miami boutique retailer Shoe Gallery celebrates both with its latest collaboration with Brooks Heritage.
The Shoe Gallery x Brooks Heritage “84 Fins” Regent arrives Saturday at Shoe Gallery and will retail for $130. The shoe will be sold in-store first starting at 10 a.m. EDT, with an online sale after that starting at 5 p.m. Following its initial release, the shoe will be available at select retailers worldwide on May 7.
The color palette is a nod to the Dolphins’ colors, featuring orange and blue hues throughout the shoe, including deep indigo suede on the heel and toe. The shoe also features a teal-to-orange spray-fade pattern from the toecap to the top of the tongue. In homage to the era’s fashion, the collaboration features distressed denim along the back of the shoe above the indigo suede. The shoe also features a gold and burgundy 3M heel tab, and white accents on the upper and outsole.
In addition to the collaboration, Shoe Gallery will release a hat with New Era and a custom denim Miami “13” jacket.
