Another Ronnie Fieg shoe collaboration first seen at his Kithland presentation has a release date.
The designer and Kith founder is releasing the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance Mykonos 997.5 Collection on Friday. Both shoes will be available at Kith’s locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, N.Y., and retail for $240. The tricolor “Cyclades” look from the collection will also be available via kithnyc.com starting at 11 a.m. ET; the “Archipelago” will not have a larger online release.
According to a statement today, Fieg is the first designer to collaborate with New Balance on the Made in USA 997.5.
The “Cyclades” iteration, according to the statement, was inspired by Fieg’s trip to the Nammos resort in Mykonos, Greece, and reflects the tones most prevalent at the destination — orange, beige midfoot and seafoam green. The shoe boasts pigskin suede on its upper with 3M panels and a white 998 Abzorb midsole.

The “Archipelago” style, a nod to the Aegean Sea, employs a blue color scheme with deep-ocean blue pigskin suede on the upper and asymmetrical “N” branding. Looking from the right, the logos are seafoam, but from left to right, they are rich aquatic blue. The look has a white 998 Abzorb midsole and tonal 3M paneling.
Both iterations come with custom packaging, five sets of laces, and a pair of Kith x Stance Mykonos Fusion ankle socks.
