Rihanna‘s new Fenty trainer for Puma hits retail tomorrow, just a few weeks after the style debuted at her much-buzzed-about New York Fashion Week show.
The look, Rihanna’s take on a traditional work out sneaker styled with her own fashion-forward flair, is a new silhouette for Puma. The trainer will be stocked at Puma stores globally as well as Puma.com and select sneaker boutiques. It comes in three colors, black, white and red.
The style plays up exaggerated proportions: the upper is made from Ariaprene, a neoprene that is designed to create a secure and breathable fit. One of the most interesting details is the high tongue on the shoe, which also features TPU Kurim cage with underlay.

Rihanna’s first style, the Puma Creeper, sold out when it was released last September. The style, created with input from menswear brand Mr. Completely, is an update on Puma’s classic Suede sneaker.
The Creeper style took inspiration from London and New York’s ’80s punk bands. It updates the classic Puma Suede style, which was originally embraced by athletes in the ’70s and then by punk bands and skaters in the ’80s. Rihanna appears with rapper Travi$ Scott in the campaign images.
It’s certainly been a big month for Queen Ri, who told FN before her fashion show she owns thousands of pairs of shoes.
After backing out of her performance at the Grammy Awards earlier this month, the star was back in action at the Brit Awards Wednesday. She arrived wearing a lavender Armani Privé dress and silver Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
When she took the stage to sing “Consideration” and “Work” from her new album “Anti,” Rihanna wore a white crop top and white fringed pants. She completed the look with a pair of Zanotti white pointed toe booties with a gold plated heel and gold zipper up the back.
