Few basketball players have been as celebrated as Allen Iverson, and whenever a new colorway of his signature Reebok shoes came out, fans of the baller couldn’t get it on their feet quick enough. Next month, Reebok will release a prototypical iteration of Iverson’s first signature shoe, The Question.
The Reebok Question “Prototype” drops Feb. 5 and will retail for $200. The shoe will be available via the brand’s website, Packer Shoes and Concepts.
With 2016 being the 20th anniversary of The Question Mid, the brand will release 20 different iterations of the iconic shoe, starting with The Prototype.
According to the brand, before Iverson played a minute in the NBA, Reebok designed a version of Iverson’s shoe hoping to sign him when he left college for the pros. The shoe, Reebok said, was called The Prototype, which after a few changes was introduced as the Question Mid.

The Prototype features the brand’s Hexalite technology and Question mark branding on the heels. The shoe features a white upper with black highlights and black and white Reebok branding, a red and black toecap, and red inside the Hexalite pockets on the midsole.
Iverson – the 1997 NBA Rookie of the Year and 2001 NBA MVP – averaged 26.7 points and 6.2 assists per game over his 14-year NBA career.
