Puma has a new silhouette void of spikes in its golf arsenal, boasting its acclaimed Ignite cushioning technology.
The Puma Ignite Spikeless Sport is in stores now and retails for $120. The shoe makes its debut in three colors — black, gray and navy — all with a white Ignite midsole.
The shoe, according to the brand, is both functional and fashionable, and it’s built with PGA Tour-level performance in mind.
Serving as both function and fashion elements is the four-way stretch waterproof mesh and leather used on its upper, allowing the golfer to effortlessly transition from the course to social settings. Specifically for performance is the hybrid bootie construction and 360-degree tongue design for a glove-like fit, and a full-length Ignite foam midsole for responsiveness and comfort.
“These shoes are perfect for any golfers who are looking for the perfect blend of style and versatility in their golf footwear,” Grant Knudson, head of footwear for Puma Golf, said in a statement. “The bonus with these is that along with a fashionable, stylish shoe, you also get extreme comfort, enhanced stability and Tour-proven performance. This shoe will to become your go-to shoe for wear on and off the course.”

For the devout golf fan, the shoes could be seen on the feet of 22-year-old Cobra Puma Golf athlete Bryson DeChambeau. Puma said he would wear the shoes throughout his remaining tournaments this season.
“The Spikeless Sport provides all the stability, comfort and support that I need on Tour, but they are also very stylish — combining a modern look with classic golf details that fits my style perfectly,” DeChambeau said.
