Pharrell Williams rocked a new edition of his Adidas Hu NMD sneakers to launch a new back-to-school collection.
The musician’s kicks featured blue colorways on a knit upper and the word “Human” on one shoe and “Being” on the other. He was in Los Angeles on Thursday for an event to support his creative collective I Am Other’s collaboration with Yoobi on a range of school supplies.
Williams’ shoes have a white boost sole and EVA inserts like other NDM silhouettes.
Previously, the entertainer has worn the style in green and yellow colorways with the words “Human” and “Race” emblazoned across each sneaker.
Williams released the Hu NMDs at select retailers and in BBC Ice Cream flagship stores globally on July 22, and Adidas Originals will carry the shoes on Aug. 25 at flagship stores.
The Grammy winner received a show of support at his event from Christina Milian, who had on a pair of lace-up caged heels, along with Mayte Garcia and “Modern Family” actress Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
