Since arriving in stores in June, the latest shoe of NBA star Kevin Durant has dropped in some profound colorways. And Nike is making sure there’s at least one more must-have look to pick up before 2016 ends.
The Nike Zoom KD 9 “The Sauce” is scheduled to hit retail on Monday and will retail for $150. The shoe will be available at 10 a.m. ET via SNKRS, nike.com and Nike retailers.
“The Sauce” iteration boasts a deep burgundy, metallic red bronze and bright crimson color palette, with deep burgundy most of the shoe complemented by metallic red bronze and bright crimson highlights. The shoe is completed with an icy translucent sole.

When the Zoom KD 9 was unveiled, Durant spoke about designer Leo Chang’s use of Nike’s Flyknit technology, which marks the first time it was used on one of his signature styles.
“My interests have changed, my game has changed, and this is a perfect shoe for who I am now,” said Durant. “The upper allows me to shift to the right and come back to my left really quick and pull up on a dime. The shoes are perfectly catered to my foot, like I molded these and got a special pair made. That’s what I want everybody to feel who puts these on. It will feel personal.”
