The moment you’ve been waiting for is here. After weeks of donations and anticipation, the Nike raffle for the self-lacing “Back to the Future II” Mag sneakers has finally come to a close, and they winners have been notified.

With just 84 pairs of the futuristic Mag sneakers raffled off via Nike’s The Draw platform, it goes without saying that number of entries far outweighed the amount of pairs up for the taking. As a result, social media was full of reactions to the philanthropic contest, which benefited the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

On Oct. 4, Nike turned the childhood dreams of sneaker enthusiasts and film buffs alike into a reality by announcing The Draw raffle for the self-lacing Mag sneaker. This followed a Nike Mag launch in 2011; however, that pair lacked the self-lacing capabilities of the 2016 version.

Some users were elated to discover a winning notification in their inbox, while others were less than pleased to walk away empty-handed. For winners and losers — and even an offer from New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram Jr. — scroll down to see some of the best responses to the contest’s outcome.
