LeBron James has a pair of NBA titles on his résumé with the Miami Heat, and this season, he is looking to win his first with the Cleveland Cavaliers. For his quest to reach the league’s promised land, Nike is releasing an Elite iteration of his latest signature shoe boasting the color of champions.
The Nike LeBron 13 Elite “Gold” arrives Thursday via nike.com and will retail for $200.
The “Gold” iteration boasts a white upper with metallic gold Swoosh branding on the forefoot, black Swoosh branding on the medial side, a black collar, and a black carbon fiber shank mid-foot that extends from the midsole. The shoe features a black midsole covered in metallic gold speckles, and it is completed with an icy translucent outsole.

The LeBron 13 Elite features technical upgrades from the LeBron 13 to make it stronger and lighter, including a durable Kurim cage upper for a skinlike fit, a carbon fiber shank, a full-length bootie and two additional hexagonal Zoom Air-sole units on each shoe — bringing the total in each shoe to six. The Elite, according to Nike, was designed to give James — and to anyone who wears the shoe on the court — dynamic lockdown, optimal stability and cushioning that is both articulated and responsive.
James and the Cavaliers will host the Atlanta Hawks tonight at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland for Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
