Nike is set to deliver its acclaimed “What The” look to NBA champion Kyrie Irving‘s latest signature shoe, the Kyrie 2. But Irving is a different type of player on the court, and Nike executed its “What The” treatment on his shoe in a way different from others.
Rather than merging the many different colorways of the Kyrie 2 on the shoe’s upper, Nike opted to keep the colors to one. Instead, the brand opted to use materials and texture graphics (what Nike said are nods to the top moments of his title-winning season with the Cleveland Cavaliers) to execute the “What The” treatment. And, Nike is delivering two colorways of the “What The” Kyrie 2 rather than one like it has with other popular franchises in the past.

The predominantly white Nike Kyrie 2 “What The” arrives via SNKRS on Monday and will retail for $120. Although Nike doesn’t have official release info for the mostly green iteration available (an Asia-only release), Foot Locker confirmed via Twitter that it will stock the shoe at its New York City flagship on 34th Street.

For fans of Irving and his signature Nike kicks, there is one detail in particular that stands out on the monochromatic shoe: the single gold eyelet, representing the baller’s 2016 NBA title, his first.
