Yesterday, we previewed the JJ Watt sneakers that Reebok is releasing for Veteran’s Day, and now we’re getting a look at one of the shoes that Nike has readied for Friday’s military holiday.
For what is sure to be just a few of many Veteran’s Day-inspired styles from Nike, the brand has created an exclusive player edition of the Kobe 11 to be worn by the Michigan State Spartans and Arizona Wildcats during Friday’s Armed Force Classic game.

For Michigan State’s exclusive, Nike covered the Kobe Bryant signature sneakers in a black camouflage-like pattern that adorns the majority of the knitted upper and even extends to the rubber outsole. The black-and-grey print is accented with a white Swoosh on the lateral and medial panels, along with a Kobe logo at the tongue and a Spartans logo at the right heel.
Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals received a similar exclusive, which sees the Kobe 11 adopt a grey and white camouflage patten and red branding. Like the Spartans’ edition, the Arizona pair features Wildcats branding at the right heel.

Unfortunately, if you are hoping to get your hands on either of these “Armed Force Classics” Kobe 11s, you’ll need some serious connections, as it looks like they are an exclusive for the NCAA teams and will not be getting a public release. However, you can catch the shoes in action on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. ET when Michigan State squares off against Arizona from Honolulu, Hawaii.
