Nike is once again giving its popular Foamposite sneakers a fresh treatment. Photos have leaked online that reportedly show the upcoming Northern Lights colorway that is to be released around NBA All-Star Weekend in February.
During last year’s All-Star game in New York, Nike released the Air Foamposite One Mirror sneakers, which retailed for $275. It is expected that this year’s release will retail for a similar price.
The photos shared by @SneakerHeadz reportedly show the pattern that will debut on the sneakers, but there has not yet been confirmation from Nike.
The Air Foamposite One sneakers debuted in 1997 on Penny Hardaway, one of the most popular players in the NBA during his 14-year career on the Orlando Magic. The shoes have continued to be a sneakerhead favorite through the years.

Adidas is also releasing Northern Lights-themed sneakers for All-Star Weekend. The D Lillard 2, D Rose 6 and Crazylight Boost 2.5 are getting the “Aurora Borealis” treatment, inspired by the game’s host city of Toronto and releasing Jan. 28. The brand is also providing the uniforms, which also pay tribute to Canada.
