Soccer superstar Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, professionally known as Neymar and Neymar Jr., visited the New York Mets on Tuesday night ahead of the team’s home game against the Chicago White Sox. The FC Barcelona forward traded in his Nike cleats for a pair of his very own Jordan V Low sneakers.
The shoes are fresh from his NJR x Jordan collection (released Wednesday) that includes the Neymar Jr. edition of the Jordan V Low with “Neymar” stitched inside the tongue as well as his Nike/Jordan collaboration of the Hypervenom football boot.
Before the Mets game, the 24-year-old hung out on the field and showed off his juggling skills with a baseball and followed that up with a soccer ball. He also took some batting practice in the cage with help from the Mets’ hitting coach, all while wearing his Jordan V Lows.

Neymar Jr. is the the first soccer athlete to feature the Jumpman on his performance product, and the collab marks the first time Jordan has launched a complete collection for an athlete who is not a member of the Jordan Brand.
To see Neymar Jr. in action, stay tuned for this year’s Olympics as he will be sporting his NJR x Jordan Hypervenom cleats this August when competing for his home country Brazil.
