The popular Adidas Ultra Boost has seen its share of collaborations, but brands are still finding new ways to reinvent the beloved running shoe. A recent example is women’s sneaker boutique Naked‘s take on the model.
As part of its Adidas Consortium “Waves Pack,” Denmark’s Naked is giving the Ultra Boost an all-knit-everything makeover. The ocean-inspired collaboration features a wool-infused Primeknit upper in a light aqua shade that will keep wearers cozy as temperatures begin to fall, but the real highlight is the sneaker’s support cage at the lateral and medial sections. Naked has revamped the cage — traditionally made of a sturdy TPU — with a wool Primeknit construction, a first for the Ultra Boost.

“The colorway frees the world renowned technical runner from the performance space and lets it loose as a luxe lifestyle shoe,” Naked says of the pastel-tinted sneaker.
Also included as part of the Naked x Adidas Consortium “Waves Pack” is the store’s interpretation of the Adidas Samba. The indoor soccer shoe gets reimagined with an aqua ostrich-inspired leather upper with a natural gum sole.
This Naked x Adidas Consortium “Waves Pack” collection will be available starting Dec. 16, exclusively at Naked’s store and online.
