Michael Jordan made a heartwarming gesture for one of his devoted fans.
The sports icon sent a package of his Jordan brand gear, including Air Jordan 7 Retro sneakers and apparel, to Jeffrey Harrison, a 33-year-old autistic man who was the subject of comment on social media last month after he was recorded wearing a head-to-toe Jordan uniform for a pickup basketball game.

A video showing Jeffrey Harrison clad in the outfit went viral.
After Jordan’s manager showed him the clip, the NBA legend sent the fan a letter, thanking him for his “support over the years,” as well as merchandise, and he followed up with a phone call on Friday.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro sneakers feature an Air-sole unit for cushioning and protection, perforated leather and a Durabuck upper for durability. The inner sleeve is designed for a snug feel and the rubber outsole supports traction.
The shoes retail for $190 online.
