Recently retired NBA great Kobe Bryant won’t be hitting pro courts in his latest signature shoe from Nike, the Kobe 11, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear new colorways as you make a move on a defender.
Nike is set to deliver a pair of colorways of the Kobe 11 this week that are sure to fly off retail shelves. First, the Nike Kobe 11 “Mambacurial” arrives on Thursday, followed by the Kobe 11 Elite “Black Horse” iteration on Saturday. The “Mambacurial” style will retail for $160 and the “Black Horse” for $220.
Inspired by Bryant’s love for soccer is the “Mambacurial,” which, according to Nike, borrows elements from Mercurial soccer boot designs. Unlike other Kobe 11 releases, the shoe features “Nike” in all caps on the medial side instead of the Swoosh branding. The shoe is executed in a pink flash, red plum and action-green color palette.
The “Black Horse” style is dressed in a black, rough green and team red color palette, and is completed with a classic gum sole. And as with all Kobe 11 Elite releases, the shoe boasts a lightweight and flexible Flyknit upper, full-length Lunarlon foam and Zoom Air cushioning.
