After more than three decades, Timberland is reviving one of its most iconic shoes — and incorporating some upgrades, too.
The footwear brand has revamped its Field Boot with two silhouettes in its Hazel Highway Pack, launching on Saturday in New York City exclusively at streetwear retailer Kith’s Manhattan and Brooklyn stores, and online at KithNYC.com.
The 6-inch Field Boot costs $225, and the Tall GTX retails at $250.
Innovative for its time when the Field Boot debuted in 1983, the shoes were among the first to incorporate dual-density polyurethane technology in the sole, eliminating the need to break in the footwear and making its structure lightweight.

The footwear was versatile enough for hitting city streets and trails.
Some of the new design features include suede inserts in the 6-inch Field Boot, which formerly utilized canvas. Both shoes are now lined with Gore-Tex for waterproof functionality, and the molded Vibram sole units help prevent fatigue.
