Sneakerheads Brave NYC Snowstorm For Ronnie Fieg x Adidas Tubular Release
Kith NYC has its share of fans that are willing to line up for days for anything with the store’s name or owner Ronnie Fieg’s name attached to it – including waiting outside on line during a blizzard.
The renowned retailer collaborated with Adidas Originals using the brand’s popular Tubular franchise for the Ronnie Fieg x Adidas Originals Tubular Doom Primeknit, which released yesterday and retailed for $165.
Despite New York City getting hit with around two feet of snow and winds of roughly 50 mph, sneakerheads lined up outside Kith locations to grab a pair of the coveted shoes.

The retailer showed the line of dedicated customers via its Instagram account, thanking them for braving the elements to pick up the shoes and announcing they have been sold out of all three locations as well as on its online store.

Fieg also posted a photo of the line of customers via his personal Instagram account.
The shoe is a part of Adidas Originals’ Consortium Tour, an international trip to world-renowned sneaker retailers with featuring special edition collaborations with those retailers.

The collaboration with Kith NYC is the first of the tour, which pays homage to Kith’s home in New York. The shoe features a gray colorway and a Primeknit upper with a sock construction that extends above the ankle for additional warmth in the winter. The shoe also features the retailer’s slogan, “Just Us,” on the heel of each shoe.
