Justin Bieber wore his go-to Vans recently while playing soccer with Brazilian star Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known in the sport as Neymar and Neymar Jr. Bieber opted for the classic checkerboard slip-ons as the two showed off their juggling skills on Instagram.
Neymar Jr., a forward for FC Barcelona, has been making headlines this week after news hit that he has a collection on the way with Jordan Brand.
The NJR x Jordan collection was made available Wednesday in adult and youth sizes via the Nike Soccer app and is available via nike.com. The collection boasts a soccer boot, a soccer training shoe and the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low.
Neymar Jr. has been spotted in his edition of the Air Jordan V Low sneakers while in New York City. He was first seen visiting the New York Mets on Tuesday night ahead of the team’s home game against the Chicago White Sox, and then again in early Thursday morning as he left an New York nightclub.

While Neymar Jr. has been sporting Nike, Bieber has chosen Adidas as of late. Besides Vans, the “Love Yourself” singer often opts for Adidas Ultra Boost sneakers or Yeezys. Most recently, Bieber wore Adidas NMD Triple White sneakers to congratulate champion Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix.
